I got myself a postcard from my family. They went to Disneyworld without me. I realize I'm like the Cinderella of the family, but come on! Disneyworld! They made me stay at school and miss that? Unfair. I mean I know bad things are happening, but DISNEYWORLD! I COULD HAVE PUNCHED MYSELF A PRINCE CHARMING!

Sooooo....I talked to one of the professors and it seems since I stayed at school that I can't leave. Who knew picking not to see my evil step-mum would ruin the holidays? Sorry, but I have to take a rain check on the party. Maybe when I am older and all of that or I could just drop out of school. I did get a xylophone. I could make a living as a musician just like you!

So I'm trying to accomplish having a play date edit:party with every member of The Weird Sisters... So that means it is going to happen right? I want to build a huge town out of building blocks and then we will demolish it while pretending to be Godzilla and friends. Plausible right?
Also kind of weird not spending Christmas with the family. I was so hoping to open presents addressed to Melody again since step-mum loathes my name. Matty is a good name, thank you.

I strangely enough had fun at the dance. Though I did lose my book...did anyone see an abandoned book just laying around at the dance? I think I set it down near the snack table before dragged against my will onto the dance floor. So glad I wore boots instead of fancy shoes. My feet would have been DEAD otherwise.
IT IS SO NICE TO BE ABLE TO RELAX.
I'm bored. Anyone left at Hogwarts want to go build a snow fort with me? We can dig a moat and everything...

QUICK! IT IS AN EMERGENCY! Does anyone know how to sew? I need this sewn up for me-
Of course I could always just buy one, but being stuck in school makes it hard to buy something like that. So if no one can sew then who wants to take my money and buy me a dress like that? It would be at a muggle costume shop, yeah?
I'd make it myself, but I need to focus on finishing up all this studying. Someday I won't need to do all of this and I can, like, travel the world. Call me Indiana!

A dance? As in a place to wear a dress to? I am strangely not okay with that. I don't think I even own a dress. I supposed if I wrote home then the Wicked Witch would be thrilled to send me something overly poofy that spews copious amounts of glitter. Oh dear, already breaking out in hives just thinking about the pink horror my step-mum would send me.
Drat. I lost my sketch book again. Has anyone seen it by chance? Its full of sketches, the last one the schematics for a time machine? No? Maybe my future self came back and got it before I could even construct the time travel machine. I ruin all my own fun!
